Email is the only channel, and it goes to a person rather than a ticketing queue. There is no contact form on this page on purpose: the site has no application server behind it, so a form would either have to hand your message to a third-party form service or silently throw it away. A plain address is more honest and it gives you a copy of what you sent.

Reporting a wrong result

Every calculator on the site is a claim that a particular formula was implemented correctly, and claims can be wrong. A report is far easier to act on when it contains the page URL, the exact inputs, the output you saw, and the output you expected. A pointer to the authority you are comparing against is the single most valuable thing you can add: a standards clause, a textbook formula, a published table, or the official calculator for a government scheme. That turns a difference of opinion into something checkable.

Rounding is a common source of apparent disagreement. Results are usually rounded for display while the underlying arithmetic runs at full precision, so a mismatch in the last decimal place is often a display choice rather than a mistake. It is still worth reporting if the rounding looks wrong for the domain, for example currency amounts that should always show two decimals.

What to expect

InToolbox is maintained by one person, so replies are not instant and there is no service-level promise attached to them. Reports that come with reproduction steps are worked on first, because they can be fixed without a conversation. Clear calculation errors are treated as the highest priority: a tool that returns a wrong number is worse than no tool at all, and if a fix is going to take a while the page gets a correction notice in the meantime.

Suggestions for new calculators are read and kept in a list, but not every one gets built. The ones that do tend to be the ones with a clear formula, a real audience, and a definition that does not change from country to country.

Please do not send unsolicited link-building offers, guest-post pitches, content-partnership proposals, or SEO services. They are deleted unread. Nothing on this site is for sale and no page carries paid links.

What happens to your message

An email you send sits in a mailbox until it is answered, then it is kept only as long as it is useful for tracking the fix. It is not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list, and it is not shared with anyone else. Ask and it will be deleted. The privacy policy covers the rest of the site, including the small amount of data your browser stores locally and the handful of calculators that call third-party APIs.

One request: do not paste confidential figures into an email when you do not need to. A description of the shape of the problem, such as "any loan term over 30 years returns a negative payment", is usually more useful than your real numbers, and it keeps your data with you.
