Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 July 2026. Applies to intoolbox.com and every calculator on it.

This policy describes what happens to information when you use InToolbox. It was written by reading the site's own source code rather than by copying a template, so it should match the software you are actually running. If any statement here does not match how the site behaves, treat that as a bug and tell us about it.

The short version

What InToolbox does not collect

The calculators run on your own device and there is no InToolbox account system or database, which rules out most of the data collection a privacy policy usually has to describe:

What your browser stores on your device

Your browser remembers a few preferences between visits. This data stays on your device, is readable only by intoolbox.com in that browser profile, and is never sent to us. Here is everything that is kept:

Because calculator history can contain numbers you entered, clear your site data if you used a shared or public computer. In most browsers that is Settings, Privacy, then "Clear browsing data" with cookies and site data selected, or you can clear intoolbox.com specifically from the padlock menu in the address bar. Clearing it only resets your preferences and history list. It breaks nothing.

These keys are functional storage, not cookies, and no identifier in them is unique to you or shared with anyone.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served as static assets from Cloudflare's network. Like every web host on the internet, Cloudflare's edge records standard request information in order to deliver the page and protect the service: your IP address, the time of the request, the URL requested, your user agent string, and the response status. That processing is Cloudflare's, governed by Cloudflare's own privacy documentation, and InToolbox does not use it to build a profile of you or to identify individual visitors.

Calculators that request live data

5 calculators cannot work offline because they need current third-party data. When you use one, your browser talks to that provider directly, which means the provider can see your IP address and the values in the request. InToolbox is not in the middle of that conversation and never receives a copy.

CalculatorProviderWhat leaves your browser
Currency Converterapi.exchangerate-api.comThe currency codes you pick.
Cryptocurrency Converterapi.coingecko.comThe coin and the currency you pick.
Prayer Timesapi.aladhan.comThe city and country you type, plus the date.
Sunrise and Sunsetapi.sunrise-sunset.orgThe latitude and longitude you enter, plus the date.
QR Code Generatorapi.qrserver.comEverything you type, in full. The QR image is rendered by that service, so the text, URL or password you encode is sent to it in the image request as you type. Do not use this calculator for anything you would not paste into a third-party website.

None of those requests include an account, a cookie set by us, or anything identifying beyond what your browser sends to any website. If you would rather not contact those providers at all, avoid those four pages. Every other calculator on the site works with your network disconnected.

Advertising and Google cookies

This section is not active yet. As of 28 July 2026 InToolbox displays no advertising and loads no advertising code. The site is preparing an application to Google AdSense. The paragraphs below describe what will apply from the day ads are switched on, and are published in advance so the disclosure exists before any ad ever renders.

You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings. Details of how Google uses data when you use a partner's sites are published at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. To opt out of many third-party vendors at once, use aboutads.info/choices or the NAI opt-out page. Opting out stops personalisation, not advertising itself.

Children

InToolbox is a general-audience utility site. It is not directed at children, it has no social features, and it collects no personal information from any visitor, including children. If ads are enabled later, ad serving will be configured for a general audience rather than for content aimed at children.

Access, correction, and deletion

Data-subject rights normally cover records a site holds about you. InToolbox holds none: there is no user table, no analytics store, and no log of your calculations. That means there is nothing for us to export, correct, or erase on request. The preferences described above are on your own device and only you can read or delete them. If you send an email, that message sits in a mailbox until it is answered, and it will be deleted on request.

Explanatory content across the site links to standards documents, reference tables, and source material on other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which InToolbox neither controls nor audits. Read their policies if you are concerned about what they collect.

Changes to this policy

When the site's behaviour changes, this page changes with it, and the Last updated date at the top moves. There is no mailing list, so there is no notification to send: checking this page is the only way to see a revision. Substantive changes, such as enabling advertising or adding analytics, will be described in plain language rather than folded quietly into a paragraph.

Questions

Privacy questions, correction requests, and reports of anything on this page that looks wrong can go to hello@intoolbox.com or through the contact page.
